Kyle Cease’s Absolutely Everything Pass is amazing. He talked about failing. Jim Carrey came up. He is a favorite actor of mine. Jim Carrey says You Can Fail From What You Dont love. This mindset coaching article will increase your awareness of failing and why you can fail with things you don’t love and things you love.

I loved hearing that so much because Jim Carrey said it perfect. For example, his Dad took the safe route and got an accounting job. It was secure and he was looking for that because he didn’t want to follow his dreams. He was afraid of failure. Do you know what happened to Jim Carrey and his family?

His Dad lost his job and they lost their house. He failed at a safe and secure job. Jim Carrey said it perfectly. You can fail from what you don’t love and from what you love. Either way, you’ll fail. So why not fail by doing something you love?

Isn’t that beautiful? It’s ok to fail from a place of enjoyment because it means you’re trying and doing. Moving from trying to doing to being. That’s what it’s all about. I love failing. It’s become part of my daily life. Because in my eyes everything is my fault.

You can fail from what you dont love so stop failing at something you hate. You’ll move closer to the life you were created for and actually fail less because of it. If I’m not failing I’m not trying hard enough. Take that a step further. It means I’m not doing anything. I was sitting on the toilet looking at Facebook (don’t even read that and judge me, you do that too) and I thought to myself…

If you sit on the toilet long enough shit will happen. If you sit in meditation long enough shit will happen. Be very aware of where you’re sitting and what your intentions are. You can fail from what you dont love very easily because life moves very fast when you’re not aware of your unhappiness.

That hit me hard. I took a brief break from meditation because I thought I was doing it to “get” something out of it. Therefore when I say I was expecting something to happen. That was my intention. Because I stopped expecting something to happen my intentions changed.

Not having any expectations IS the intention. That is where I thought I failed. Not meditating was where I also thought I failed too. Learning to forgive yourself is something that takes practice. I’ve gotten really good at it because again, everything is my fault. Therefore good or bad, everything is my fault. Now that’s ownership.

Get real with yourself and start forgiving yourself. Provide your soul with your attention. For example, focus within daily either through journaling, sitting quietly or both. Heck, even active meditation. Mentally checking out and observing your thoughts while on a walk has massive value.

Help yourself to the opportunity that sits right in front of you every moment of every day. Because when you do you’ll start to take ownership of your thoughts, speech, and actions. Get after it with the WOD and fail. Fall in love with failing at something you love because it won’t feel like failing. It feels more like living. Above all you’ll feel more in love with yourself.

Have Fun!
