Think back to WOD #1 or even the Pretest. What abilities do you have now versus then? You are almost done with all 365 WODs. Whether it’s been 365 days consecutively or not this is a major milestone. Tomorrow, or whatever day you have planned to do the post test is right around the corner and I for one am very proud of you.
What’s next? Another year? More rounds per WOD? Maybe you’re happy with where you’re at and it’s time to repeat what you’ve done?
Let’s go back to WOD #1 and think for a moment. Remember the first time doing a Tabata WOD? Also, my squats, lunges, bridges, and side crunches look different now versus day one. Is that true for you?
When consistency becomes greater than intensity everything comes together before you know. You are almost done. After completing WOD #362 there are three left. Some may feel scared to finish because it’s death to their old story. That is completely normal.
It has taken me just short of four years to complete the entire 365 WOD Journey. From inception to end, four years. The last 60 or 70 articles took me over a year and a half to complete. Because of my old story I let the fear win. Finishing the articles means that I overcame my fear.
When you read this it mean that one journey ends and another is now beginning. It’s ok to have emotional pain about your old story. I sure did. I was feeling so down and so sad. Let it sit with you and love the pain. I was even crying way more too during this time. It came out of nowhere.
In summery, you can finish. Letting your fear and your ego stop you only leads to the same outcome. Finish your Journey one round at a time. Sometimes being scared helps us protect us from ourselves. I’m here to tell you that there’s nothing to protect you from. You are safe. I am here for you if you need me. Email me at [email protected] if you’d like my support.
Have Fun!
