Nothing Ever Lasts ForeverEach time we decide to change either by choice or not we die. Nothing ever lasts forever because we are constantly changing. However, if you’re not aware of the changes then it’s time you woke up. This mindset coaching article will help you wake up both consciously and subconsciously.

So many people are afraid of death. What you don’t realize is that you’ve already died many times in your life. For example, when you were a baby you depended on someone else to take care of you. When you learned that you can do things on your own the baby part of yourself died. It’s ok. Let that sink in.

The moment a baby starts to crawl and then walk the old story of themselves dies. They are no longer dependent on anyone to move. The movements may not be perfect but when you’re less than 2 years old the brain doesn’t have an analytical mind to criticize the movement that is achieved. Because I act mostly like a child in my day people give me weird looks. I’m good with that.

Children have it all figured out. It’s only when parents and outside sources start to influence the way they think, act and be, that they start to develop the analytical mind. On top of that old stories of happiness, sadness, joy, anger, and any other memories and emotions start to form and die all at the same time.

Let’s take a moment and celebrate the fact that you’re here mentally and physically. You are dying as you read this because of the new neurological pathways being formed. It’s the same ones that form when you become a parent or an aunt or uncle. The old story is not being a Mom, Dad, Aunt or Uncle is dead. You simply take on the persona of that role. Where does that come from?

Dare I say there’s something bigger than all of us that is operating us. I believe it’s called faith. Not a formal “God” or anything, in which what I believe is my business, not yours. I don’t want to get into religion or politics. I simply don’t do it. However, when it comes to faith, it can be defined any way you like it. For me, it’s a belief that something within myself and outside of myself is operating and guiding me. It’s up to me to listen or not.

The best part of nothing ever lasts forever is that the bad times will have an end. On the flip side, so will the good ones. It’s a balance of life and making the best of every moment is what I vowed to do a long time ago. As soon as I get past the analytical mind I instantly get to a place of gratitude. The level of gratitude I express becomes so overwhelmingly amazing. Trusting in Life comes with daily practice and patience.

You too can have this every moment in your life. Daily practice within your mind and body is what it takes. The WODs help that as well as a journal or simply sitting in silence. It’s a matter of choosing to change your patterns so that nothing ever lasts forever. Then your old self will die and you’ll be creating a new one. Own it and love the newness.

Have Fun!
