Why Is Delayed Gratification Important
Have you ever wanted something so bad it seemed like forever to get it? Why is delayed gratification important for building a solid foundation for health? We live in a microwave and convenience time. Instant gratification only lasts as long as it takes to get. Therefore you’ll be looking for more as soon as you have it.

However, delayed gratification comes with many benefits. For example, these WODs were created in 2014 and the end date for the first 365 is near. It doesn’t matter how long it took me to finish them. All that matters is they are worth doing. If a person wants instant gratification, then stop reading right now. I teach permanent life changing skills.

Patience is a key component to delayed gratification. So is trust. Don’t trust me, trust yourself. Trust yourself enough to know when enough is enough. We only change what we are doing in our life after the pain becomes unbearable. Then the fun part begins.

Each day you compete a WOD, no matter how many rounds, you’re putting another layer onto your foundation of health. Delayed gratification comes when you complete all 365 WODs. Working that hard on something for so long will change your life. That, my friend, I can be sure of.

So the next time you want that cookie or new car, wait. Make sure you’re head and heart are in a place of live, instead of lack. Most people operate in a state of lack. Something from your childhood may have triggered that want. No matter what triggers the instantaneous reaction for the gratification, do whatever you can to delay it as long as possible. That way the effect of it will last longer.

Lastly, everything that you know about your life as you’re reading this no longer is truth. Read that again and let it sink in real deep.

Everything That You Know About Your Life As You’re This No Longer Is Truth

In other words, each day that you choose a different path means you’re welcoming the unknown. The unknown means you trust what we it is that bests your hear and inflates/deflates your lungs. Wanting nothing means you already have everything. Delayed gratification is where it all begins and ends at the same time. If that makes sense to you then you it. If not, then let’s talk more about that with a 1:1 coaching session. Email me at [email protected] and let’s set up a time.
