Uncomfortable Feelings Become ComfortableWhen talking about change or willingness to change a person starts to feel uncomfortable. When do uncomfortable feelings become comfortable? This mindset coaching article will shed some light on that topic. Because the feeling of being uncomfortable is subjective there is no wrong answer, just know and understand that.

When I talk with people about how to earn the free WOD Finisher T-shirt and free WOD Finisher Hoodie people get excited or terrified. Because it takes a certain level of readiness, I understand that uncomfortable feelings arise. Working out every day for 1 year strong is no small feet.

A person could really share all 365 WOD links to their Facebook and not do anything at all. Then tell me they completed the 365 WOD Journey and get a free Hoodie and/or T-shirt. I don’t spot check the work. I simply believe it. If you’d go to all the trouble to post the next WOD link for 365 days in a row I’d gladly give you a Hoodie.

I’ve even talked to people that thought they had to video themselves doing the WODs and post it to Facebook. You don’t have to do that. I do it because I show how uncomfortable feelings become comfortable after an amount of time. The way I coach is leading by example. Would you go to a dentist with bad teeth?

Doing something new is uncomfortable. It’s unfamiliar and clunky at first. It’s part of the process. Unless you’re perfect, which none of us on this earth are, you have work to do. We all do. The uncomfortable feelings become comfortable when you accept the feelings. Above all, love them. Start looking forward to them.

Looking forward to uncomfortable feelings will exponentially speed up the process. Because love really does help your nervous system cool off. After I meditate for an hour my forehead feels very cool. It’s like I shut off my processor on my computer.

You too can do the same thing. Uncomfortable feelings become comfortable when you’re consistently doing something over and over and over again. Sound familiar?

The 365 WOD Journey is the perfect example. Every WOD is different and practices movements that will help you in case catastrophe hits. The basic form of all the movements are push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and lunges. Those scare the shit out of people at first.

They are totally uncomfortable. However, it doesn’t take long before they’re doing all of the said movements. It’s all about perspective too. A wall push-up is still a push-up. Your body doesn’t know the difference. It’s all resistance in the end. Above all, the resistance is not only physical, it’s mental too.

Make those uncomfortable feelings become comfortable with this WOD. Try something new after you’re done. That’s your challenge. If you’re reading this you have now accepted that challenge.
