Trying New Things Is HarmlessIt might seem terrifying at first but trying new things is harmless. In the grand scheme of things, life is really short. Experiences are far and few between. This mindset coaching article will reveal to you that new experiences and new things can actually make life better.

Many people look at push-ups, sit-ups, squats, and lunges as being scary AF. On the surface, they can be, but looking deeper they are what you make them out to be. A wall push-up counts just as much as a floor push-up because your body doesn’t feel the difference. The amount of resistance is different, but the consistency of getting them done is more important.

Sit-ups can also be crunches. It doesn’t matter what kind of code workout you do as long as it gets done on a consistent basis. Seeing a theme here? The core is a topic that gets skewed because of the lure of a sexy flat tummy. Your core goes all the way around your body, but that isn’t sexy to talk about.

Squats are like the elephant in the room for many people. They instantly start to think they can’t do a full squat because they wouldn’t be able to get back up. Another good one is that their knees would blow out. Those two happenings just aren’t accurate. Because of the modifications provided by each WOD all excuses go in one ear and out the other. A shallow squat works just the same.

Nobody even thinks about lunges because of the obvious. They are freaking hard. The fact is that lunges can be modified too. A shallow lunge is just as good as a full range of motion one. Above it, the consistency is where the focus is.

All of the movements within the WODs have modifications so that trying new things is harmless. There is literally nothing you’re going to lose except for the time you take to try this new adventure.

Coming to a YGT Fitness Group Personal Training Class is something new. Again, trying something new is harmless. Your first class is free. It only takes the time to get there, do the class and go home. Once you show up and see how much fun it is all of the anxiety goes away.

Whether you come to YGT Fitness Group Personal Training Class, 1:1 Session, Video Chat Sessions or do the WODs on your and contribute to the WOD fund it all starts at something new. Know where you’re going only by knowing where you’ve been. Lastly, know that every WOD is different because your body needs new experiences every day.

Have Fun!
