Some Of The Best Advice We Can Give Is To OurselvesHave you ever given someone advice and immediately thought that totally applied to yourself? Some of the best advice we can give is to ourselves. This mindset coaching article will provide you with the tools to know when you’re giving advice that will benefit you as well.

Let’s talk about opinions for a moment. Opinions are like assholes, we all have them. Giving someone your opinion doesn’t make it right, it’s your opinion. We say that opinion based on what benefits us. Right or wrong it’s just how most people are wired. Because of our parents or whoever raised you, that’s where you get that inner voice from. Unless you do the work to change that voice, it will always be the same. That’s a different article though.

Getting back to some of the best advice we can give is to ourselves. Now, when you’re giving advice it comes from a place of experience. If you’ve never experienced it before, then you speaking to it comes from pure make-believe. Listening to someone and giving advice is fun for me. It comes naturally because I am a listener by choice. I’d rather listen to someone for as long as they can talk and then give them my “opinion”. Just know that my opinion is always based on empathy.

Time Flys When You’re Having Fun!

If I’ve never been through it, then I don’t give much advice on it. When you’re talking to someone and time seems like it has gone away, that is when you’re in your truest form of yourself. That’s when the advice you’re giving is usually meant for yourself. As I’m writing this article I find that this is the best advice for me that I can give.

Are You Telling Yourself Lies On A Daily Basis?

As you talk more from a place of truth you’ll get deeper into your true self. 99% of people are too afraid to go there because they don’t want to face themselves. Facing themselves means that they have to be completely honest and stop telling lies to other people and themselves. To be honest, they need to stop telling themselves the lies. Self-awareness is the key component to giving some of the best advice.

Begin taking your own advice from a place of truth. Feeling your truth means feeling it in your body. For me, I feel my truth when my heart beats very hard. It means my body is telling me something that I need to follow. It may come from your head and that is your ego aka your analytical mind. The analytical mind plays tricks all the time. Knowing how to shut it up is the key to giving some of your best advice.

Once you begin to take responsibility for every thought, every action and every word you produce in your day, then you’re in your truth. Being 1oo% ok with every outcome without any expectation will produce a life you’ll want to live. Now, what does that mean? It means that you are one decision, one conversation, one thought and one action away from being the person you want to become.

How do you do that? You start by noticing your thoughts and emotions. Some call it meditation. You don’t have to do anything fancy, but be still. You can even sit and read a book if you’d like. It required no electronics though. Even sitting here reading this you’re on something electronic. Put it all down and go within. Do this for 5 minutes a day and you won’t believe the ripple effect you’ll create.

Some of the best advice we can give is to ourselves. It’s so true that when you give advice to people after you acquire this ability will only reflect what you truly love and believe. People will respond to you on a deeper level and take in what you have to say as truth and law. This comes with great responsibility though. People abuse this ability all the time. Be very aware of why you’re doing what you’re doing. That’s my fear talking and as I write this I’m loving that I just recognized it.

Learning never stops. Because if you stop learning you stop living. It would be the death of me, literally, if I stopped learning. So take the advice I’m giving you today and get your WOD done. I’m taking it in as I give it to you. I’ll leave you with a quote that has provided a great amount of value…
