Life Is Too Short To Get That BentThis mindset coaching article comes from a place of perspective. Life is too short to get that bent about anything. that’s a saying that I’ve been living by since my children have come into this world. I’m not saying every moment is perfect, but as long as my heart is beating and I can breathe, everything past that is a win. Certainly, it’s going to increase your self awareness for self love.

Because I’ve had a job since I was 13 and 1/2 years old it’s been interesting working with all sorts of people. Some are great under pressure and some just fold. Stress plays such a factor in their nervous system that they are always on fight or flight. Learning to adapt and go with the has been a cornerstone to my working career. No matter what is going on life is too short to get that bent. Work is work, home is home. However, loving life comes all the hours of the day.

When shit hits the fan you soon realize that the “shit” really isn’t that big of a deal. Bills will always be there. Bad days will always come. Bosses will always piss you off. The takeaway here is your thoughts and your mindset to it all. Switch your mindset from “bad days” to grateful days. No matter what happens to you or to those around you, be grateful. For example, if your boss pisses you off be grateful to be working. However, it doesn’t mean you have to be a pushover. Gratitude with confidence is a powerful personality.

Chances are there are lessons to be learned for every experience in life. Because of the good, bad and ugly experiences in your life, you are who you say you are. Most importantly, you’re right either way. Life is too short to get that bent about those bad and ugly experiences. I’m not saying dismissing anything bad that happened to you. I’m simply saying that your life is important. You were created for a reason and deserve love and to be loved. Meanwhile, everyone around you is tearing you down. Stop doing that to yourself because people around you do it enough for you.

Loving yourself from the inside out is where it all begins. For example, getting one round of a WOD done each day is showing yourself that you’re important. You’re worth every second that it takes to commit. Above all, since you’re here reading this I’m proud of you. Please take this as truth for your nervous system to take those ugly experience and put them into your soul as wisdom. Not forgetting and maybe forgiving. Reaching a place of forgiveness provides your soul with a deeper connection to it.

Meanwhile, people around you will also try to drag you into their ecosystem of bullshit. Life is too short to get that bent with their misery. Let them vent and forget about it. Be you and love the person you see in the mirror. Cliche, but true. Now, get that WOD done and love where you’re at on your Journey. Because the journey IS your life, the journey ends when your life does. Let that sink in while you complete your WOD. In addition to that, notice how you feel after you’re done, the choices surrounding the WOD will be forever changed.

Have Fun!
