Getting knocked down happens every day. The ability to get back up again is a skill that’s learned and not everyone has it. Taking the time to unlearn the same old routine of falling down and staying down is something only consistency can conquer.
While talking about the ability to get back up again you might also picture yourself being off or on “the wagon” when it comes to your health and wellbeing. SO many people reach out to me when they are “off” the wagon. Hence why I create these WODs each day to provide the consistency it takes to break the habit of being yourself. My kids and I LOVE this movie that came out in 2016. We loved it SO much we even bought the DVD. There’s a particular song in that movie that this coaching advice comes from. The song is called Get Back Up Again from the movie Trolls. As a result of watching it over 200 times my kids sing it ALL the time. I’m good with it because my favorite part is:
I’m not giving up today
There’s nothing getting in my way
And if you knock knock me over
I will get back up again

Consequently I sing this song often too. It seems like the more I act like a kid, the more I have fun in life. What I’m saying is singing uses energy, as a matter of fact singing uses 167 calories an hour. Plus my intuition tells me that you’ll also feel better both physically AND mentally after you get done singing that song.
Therefore I’m thinking it’s time to have fun fun!

Tabata Training (20 Seconds On / 10 Seconds Off)
- Single Arm Wall Push
- Elevated Bird Dog
- Reverse Push-Ups
Cool Down – 5 Deep Breaths In Down Dog Pose
