Everything that kills me makes me feel alive. It kills me because it’s death to my old story. And when I listen to my heart aka my deep down I feel alive. This mindset coaching article will help you see what I see when it comes to death to your old story.
One Republic has a song called Counting Stars and when I first heard it I thought they were talking about drugs and alcohol when they meant everything that kills me makes me feel alive. I was dead wrong. Once you dig deeper within your consciousness meanings and phrases are entirely different. What kills you is not really you. It’s the death of your old story.
For example, you use to be a person who was lazy, out of shape and depressed all the time. After completing this many WODs starting from WOD #1 till now you’ve completely changed that story. Whether you’re doing one round daily or one WOD weekly it doesn’t matter. What matters most is that you’ve been interrupting your patterns. There is no right way or wrong way to do this. There is only your way.
Because you’re reading this and doing the WODs it means that the changes are sustainable and life-changing. What kills me and makes me feel alive is when people clue me in on the impact the WODs have made on their life. The more people who are doing them the more death to my old story of nobody will follow my program. I’ve taken many risks putting this program out to the world and it scares me. However, it also makes me feel very alive.
Usually, people are too timid to change and try new things. It truly is death to their old story. As soon as the WODs start working our analytical minds start to sabotage the progress. Prepare for that and love it. Because when you see that pattern beginning it will be easier to stop.
