With the school year starting people’s stress and cortisol levels seem to increase. Today’s WOD has cool calm collect movements decreasing stress.

There are MANY ways to reduce stress. Heck, if you Google it I’m sure you’ll find pills, drunks, home remedies and even stuff you wrap yourself in…

Consequently you’ll also find yourself in the same place you started at AND with less coin in your pocket.

Today’s WOD is one of many ways to relieve stress in a very natural way.

Because I used that word natural people seem to think, in today’s day and age, it’s”healthy”.

Be careful when reading and absorbing information that states “natural” stress relief.

Stress management is something, like everything I teach and peach about, that takes a certain trial and error technique.

When you are stressed your body produces cortisol, therefore you can adapt to the external stimuli that is making you stressed.

Bit what happens when you don’t ever come down from that stress?

You keep producing cortisol.

Today’s WOD cool calm collect movements will decrease your stress.

So let’s get to ot shall we?

Here we go…

WOD #151 Cool Calm Collect Movements Decreasing Stress

1 – 3 Rounds

Warm Up – 5 Minutes Cardio

5 Deep Breaths For Each Movement

  • 4 Sun Salutations
  • Warrior I
  • Warrior II
  • Reverse Warrior
  • Sumo Squat
  • Plank Hold
  • 2 Sun Salutations

Cool Down – 5 Deep Breaths In Down Dog / Child’s Pose
